On Thursday, 29th January, MSPs will
debate whether or not there has been
enough public information on proposals
to establish two new prisons in Scotland,
one of which will be privately built and
operated.

Let us know your view on this important

Wind Farms in Scotland [click here]

On Thursday 6th November, Parliament
debated the issue of Wind Farms in Scotland. The motion was introduced
by Mid Scotland and Fife MSP Murdo
Fraser. Along with his co-signatories,
Murdo Fraser is concerned about existing
planning regulations, and their ability to
respond to local concerns about the
environmental impact of wind farms.




The Auxiliary Fire Service [click here]

On Wednesday 8th October, 2003, Fergus Ewing, MSP for Inverness East, Nairn and Lochaber, lead a debate in Parliament on the Auxiliary Fire Service in the Highlands.

Respect for Shopworkers  [click here]
On Thursday the 25th of September Parliament debated the issue of violence and abuse against shopworkers. MSP's want to hear your views on the subject and here you can have your say on this important issue. The parliamentary debate was introduced by Eastwood MSP Ken Macintosh, and he and other MSPs will be monitoring ongoing postings.
